1. What the tools are

The calculators produce estimates based on standard hair colorimetry rules and the inputs you provide. They are educational aids and professional starting points. They are not a substitute for product instructions, a patch test, a strand test, or the judgment of a qualified colorist who can see and feel the hair.

2. Your responsibility

You decide whether and how to use any result. Before applying color, bleach, toner or developer to anyone, you agree to read and follow the manufacturer's instructions, perform the required allergy patch test, strand test where appropriate, and comply with local regulations on cosmetic services. Where a tool says a goal is not realistic in one step, that warning is part of the result.

3. Accuracy

We work to keep the tools and guides accurate and show a review date on each tool. Hair, products and techniques vary, and we cannot guarantee that a result is correct for a particular head. Report suspected errors through the support page.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Easy Hair Edit and the people who build it are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the site or its results, including hair or scalp damage, allergic reaction, wasted product, lost time or lost income. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the tools for personal and professional work, share links to pages, and print or copy a result for your own use. You may not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others, remove copyright notices, republish tools or guides as your own, or use the site for anything unlawful. Automated access by search engines and AI assistants for indexing and answering questions is permitted, as set out in our robots.txt.

6. Intellectual property

The site, its code, text, illustrations and calculators are owned by Easy Hair Edit or its licensors. Brand names belong to their owners and are used for identification only.

7. Third-party links and products

Links to other sites and products are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for them, and a link does not mean we endorse the product for your case. Some links may be affiliate links, as disclosed in the privacy policy.

8. Changes and availability

We may change, pause or remove any tool or page at any time, and may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Consumers keep any mandatory protections of their home jurisdiction.
